General Description
Takuna is an extract produced from the bark of Cecropia strigosa, a tree that is found throughout South America. It has recently been found to have very powerful antiviral properties as well as some other general antimicrobial properties. Practitioners using the product have found that Takuna given every hour usually resolves influenzas in just a few hours. In some cases, the symptoms are resolved in as little as one hour. IN VIVO – ACUTE ORAL TOXICITY TESTS
An Acute Oral toxicity study was conducted by the Department of Chemical Sciences at the University of Guayaquil, Ecuador. The general conclusion was that Takuna did not produce toxic effects when used in accordance to the guidelines described in OECD TG 423, thus the product is considered practically innocuous for humans when administered in the acute form.
